Underwood The Jewellers has traded from Darling Mews in Ramsey since 2010, combining a retail counter of rings, pendants, earrings and necklaces with bespoke commissions and repair work carried out on the premises. The workshop handles ring resizing, cleaning, polishing and replating, watch and clock repair, engraving and jewellery valuations, and the business buys gold and silver as well as selling it. Danish Design is among the watch brands stocked, and the shop also offers ear piercing and a stringing service for pearls and beads. A collection and delivery option is available for customers with limited mobility. Independently owned and run as a single shop rather than part of a chain, it has built a local reputation for repair turnaround and for taking on commissions that larger retailers decline, drawing custom from Ramsey and the surrounding Fenland villages as one of the few working jewellers left in this part of Huntingdonshire.
