Utopian Brewing

Utopian Brewing operates from Unit 4 of the Clannaborough Business Units at Bow, near Crediton, a company incorporated in 2017 that specialises in lager rather than the ale more commonly brewed by small British breweries. It uses only British-grown ingredients for its beers, a deliberate departure from lager's usual reliance on imported hops and malt, and describes its approach as applying traditional brewing methods to interpretations of classic Continental styles. The brewery is a member of SIBA, the Society of Independent Brewers, and sells its beer through its own online shop with delivery priced at £5.50 per order, free above £45. Plans on site include a new brewery and visitor centre for the mid-Devon location. It remains a single production site rather than a multi-site brewing group.
