Sam and Katie Congdon's bottle shop on Exeter Street stocks more than three hundred beers from British and international breweries, with fine ciders and perries beside them and craft draught for drinking in or carrying out by the growler. It has become a Good Beer Guide fixture — the 2026 edition included — with meet-the-brewer and food-producer evenings through the year and a garden at the back. Closed Mondays; afternoons into the evening otherwise.
