Christopher Warne owns this gallery on Southside Street in Plymouth's Barbican, known locally as the People's Gallery. Warne has a long-standing interest in the city's art scene, particularly the work of the Plymouth painter Robert Lenkiewicz, and built the gallery's stock around affordably priced original paintings, prints, sculpture and photography from South West artists alongside national names. The hang changes on a regular basis rather than remaining fixed, and the gallery also carries fused glass pieces and small badge sets alongside framed work. It sits among a cluster of independent galleries on the historic Barbican waterfront, close to the fish market and the point from which the Mayflower is said to have set sail. The gallery is open seven days a week throughout the year, and also runs an online shop.
