Wrekin Spirit distils gin from a converted cart shed at Sydney House Farm in Kynnersley, on a family farm worked by four generations of the same family. Isabel Mosely and her sister visited a distillery and gin school in January 2018, and with her father Bruce helping plan the groundworks, the family converted the cart shed into a working distillery built around a copper pot still. Isabel's son Sam has managed the site since 2021, alongside her husband Richard and other family members. The distillery produces a signature dry gin using nine botanicals alongside flavoured variants including a citrus gin made with lemon, orange and goji berry. Visitors can book distillery tours or a gin school session where they blend their own botanical mix to take home as a bottled gin. The site is open to visitors by appointment on weekdays, and the business remains family-run and independent of the larger drinks groups operating elsewhere in Shropshire.
