Aberconwy Nursery

Aberconwy Nursery grows and sells alpine and rock garden plants from a smallholding at Graig, above the village of Glan Conwy, with views across the Conwy estuary towards the Carneddau mountains. The collection was built up over more than thirty-five years by the late Dr Keith Lever and Rachel Lever, and is now run by their son Tim Lever alongside Rachel Lever and Gemma Hayes. Specialities include gentians, dionysias, dwarf dianthus, primulas and saxifraga, propagated and grown on site rather than bought in for resale. Plants are sold only to visitors who collect in person; there is no mail order and no second site. The nursery opens Tuesday to Saturday between March and September, closing over winter.
