Ammonite Lodge

Ammonite Lodge is a Grade II listed guest house on the High Street in Chard, occupying a cottage roughly three hundred years old at the top of the street opposite Chard Museum. Run by its owners, Katherine and James, it offers six individually decorated bedrooms in a mix of double, twin and family configurations, most with en-suite bathrooms, and a shared lounge and dining room where breakfast is served each morning. The building retains period features consistent with its age, and free parking is available in front of the property with additional spaces behind. Its position within walking distance of Chard's shops, pubs and restaurants makes it a base for visitors rather than a destination in its own right. Early check-in can be arranged for wedding guests attending local venues.
