Belfast Ceramics Studio operates from Owen O'Cork Mill on the Beersbridge Road, registered with Companies House as Belfast Ceramic Studio Ltd under director Stephen Farnan. The open-access studio runs beginner workshops alongside upskilling courses in throwing, glazing, mould-making and sculpting, and hosts a monthly Friday Night Pottery session for casual makers working outside a formal course. Members can book studio time from nine in the morning until nine at night, while general collections and the on-site clay shop, which stocks porcelain, terracotta and speciality clay bodies, keep weekday hours of ten to five. Kiln rental is available separately from studio membership for makers firing work completed elsewhere. The studio positions itself as open to every stage of maker, from a first taster session through to someone finishing pieces for a wholesale order, inside a mill building repurposed for craft use in east Belfast.
