D VineCellars

D Vine Cellars began in 2009 as a weekend stall at Venn Street Market, when Greg Andrews started selling wine to Clapham shoppers on Saturdays. By July 2012 the stall had become a full shop and tasting room at 1 Voltaire Road, Clapham North, stocked with more than 600 bottles sourced through boutique importers and small growers. The shelves run from classic Burgundy to what staff call freaky natural wine, alongside spirits, cheese, charcuterie and hampers. Sommeliers on the floor talk customers through the range rather than pointing at shelf labels. The shop runs regular tastings, supper clubs and bar takeovers, and hires out its tasting room for private events.
