Driftwood opened as a boutique guest house on Station Road in Rhosneigr in December 2022, run by owners Matthew Bullas and Katherine Owen through their company Rhosneigr Ltd. The building was refurbished into a small number of ensuite rooms finished with locally sourced furniture and fittings, a short walk from Rhosneigr's beach and railway halt. Breakfast uses ingredients from local suppliers, and the owners worked with other Anglesey businesses on interiors and food during the refit. The guest house is geared toward couples and short breaks rather than large groups, with a lounge and small bar area for residents in the evening. Rhosneigr is known for its beaches and watersports, and Driftwood's rooms suit visitors using the village as a base for surfing, kitesurfing or walking the coast path. It is one of a small number of independent guest houses in the village.
