Eynsham Cellars has traded as an independent wine merchant from 43 Mill Street in Eynsham since March 2010, when it was founded by Iain and Oli. Iain left the business in 2022 after twelve years; Oli continues to run it with retail manager Dan and a small team. The shop stocks more than 500 wines sourced both through importers and directly from producers, alongside spirits, cigars, beer, cider and soft drinks. The owners describe working relationships with small regional brewers and distillers whose stock they carry alongside the wine range, and the shop positions its pricing around value rather than discounting for its own sake. It is open seven days a week, from 10am to 8pm, giving it longer hours than a typical high-street off-licence. The business remains independently owned and is not part of a supermarket chain, franchise or regional off-licence group, distinguishing it from the multiple-branded outlets found in nearby towns.
