Charles and Sue Bennett, with their children Cate and George, grow organic vegetables on Sandy Lane Farm at Tiddington, near Thame, selling them straight from a shop attached to the fields. Soil Association certification covers the produce, supplemented by the farm's own free-range pork, lamb and eggs, organic beef, and seasonal venison. A short shelf of bought-in goods includes bread from the Natural Bread Co and Wild Frog Bakehouse, organic dairy, honey, cakes and coffee roasted by Dark Horse Roastery. Customers can order a vegetable box online for collection, with orders cut off each Tuesday at 11pm. A coffee bar inside the shop serves drinks made with the farm's own produce, and a household refill station lets shoppers restock cleaning products without new packaging. The shop trades three days a week, Thursday to Saturday.
