Glen Affric Brewery& Taproom

Craig McCormick and his father Trevor founded Glen Affric Brewery in November 2016 after Craig worked at Shanghai's Boxing Cat Brewery to learn the craft, later joined in the business by Craig's brother Calum and their mother Alison. The family named the brewery after Glen Affric in the Scottish Highlands, where they once kept a family home, before settling production at Knox Street in Birkenhead. The taproom sits inside the working brewery, pouring roughly 25 of its own beers across a rotating tap list that ranges from West Coast-style pale ales to smaller experimental batches, with capacity for more than a hundred drinkers and brewery tours run on Sundays.
