Bluecoat Display Centre is a contemporary craft and design gallery and shop set within the Bluecoat, Liverpool's oldest surviving building in the city centre and a working arts centre since 1927. The centre represents more than 250 contemporary craftspeople, selling ceramics, jewellery, textiles and handmade gifts alongside changing exhibitions of new work. It operates as a registered charity, with proceeds from sales supporting its programme of maker demonstrations and commissions, including a curated wedding gift list service. Visitors can browse the shop floor independently of the Bluecoat's gallery spaces and courtyard garden. The centre is reached through the College Lane entrance to the Grade I listed building, which dates from 1717. It is open six days a week, closed on Sundays.
