The Little Theatre(Carlton Players)

Birkenhead's last surviving theatre, home to the amateur Carlton Players, founded in 1930. The current building, a converted 19th-century church on Grange Road West, opened as a theatre in 1958 after members raised funds and gave their own labour, and still stages plays and musicals in its main auditorium and studio bar.
