Herne Hill Velodrome is a working outdoor cycling track off Burbage Road, built in 1891 and the only surviving venue from the 1948 London Olympics, where it hosted the track cycling events. Run today by a charitable trust, it offers coached sessions, open track time and bike hire for riders of varying ability alongside its regular racing calendar.
