Howard Moseley trained as an apprentice butcher with Dewhursts in 1977, later working as a shop manager and then district manager responsible for sixteen branches across the region. After decades in the trade he set up on his own, taking premises on Drapers Lane in Leominster town centre, where he now trades as a Highly Qualified Master Butcher and member of the Institute of Meat. The shop sources beef, lamb and pork mainly from farms in Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Shropshire to keep food miles low, preparing cuts, sausages and cooked meats on site. Howard Moseley Family Butchers remains independently owned and run from this single Leominster shop, with no other branches.
