Kirkdale Nursery

Six-acre plant nursery outside the village of Daviot, opened in 1989 and still run by its founder. Stocks hardy trees, conifers, shrubs, herbaceous perennials and alpines chosen to survive the north-east climate, with views toward Bennachie. No cafe or play area; the focus stays on plants rather than a wider garden centre offer.
