Land ofIron

A museum standing on the site of the first ironstone mine in Cleveland, covering the 150 years since an area that once supplied over a third of the world's iron and steel. Tours are limited to twelve people at a time, so advance booking is advised, and there is a digital guide, hands-on schools workshops and room hire. Ironstone Memories, a Cleveland Fibre Arts textile exhibition, runs 20 July to 31 October 2026, included with admission.
