Leo's Clapton

Leo's occupies the former Jim's Café at 59 Chatsworth Road, reopened in May 2023 by chef Giuseppe Belvedere working with the team behind Juliet's Quality Foods. Belvedere draws on his Sardinian background, building a seasonal Italian menu around pristine, simply prepared produce. The room keeps much of the original 1960s café fittings, including Formica-topped tables and a tiled counter, alongside a small bar pouring natural wine and aperitivi. The kitchen changes its pasta and fish dishes through the year rather than holding to a fixed menu. Leo's trades from this single Clapton address only, with no other branches, and sits among Chatsworth Road's run of independent food shops and cafés without belonging to any wider restaurant group.
