Llanelly House is a Georgian townhouse on Bridge Street in Llanelli, built in 1714 for Sir Thomas Stepney and later subdivided into shops and tenements as the town industrialised around it. A Heritage Lottery-funded restoration returned the building to public use, reopening in 2014 under the charitable Llanelly House Trust. The ground floor, café and gift shop are open to visitors without charge during opening hours, while the upper floors, with their original panelling and stairs, are seen only on scheduled guided tours run on set days each week. The on-site bistro serves breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea using Welsh produce. The house also hosts weddings, private functions and educational sessions for schools and community groups.
