Lydstep Nurseries has traded as a family-run garden centre since 2003, on the coast road between Tenby and Manorbier. The nursery grows and stocks one of the wider ranges of plants, trees, shrubs and hedging in west Wales, alongside Mediterranean specimens, topiary and seasonal bedding. Alongside the plant area there is a run of garden furniture, including Kettler ranges, Napoleon barbecues, pots, planters and general maintenance supplies. It opens seven days a week year-round from 8:30am, longer hours than many rural nurseries, which suits gardeners calling in before or after a day at the coast. It remains a single site rather than part of a wider group, run day to day by the family that founded it, with staff able to advise on what will survive an exposed coastal garden.
