Metal has worked in Peterborough since renovating Chauffeurs Cottage, a gatehouse largely unused until 2011, in partnership with the city council. Since January 2025 it has been based in office space at Trinity Court on Trinity Street, beside the Museum building and under ten minutes' walk from the station. The programme covers UK and international artists in residence, dinners, mentoring, exhibitions and participatory projects, often off-site. Weekdays 9am to 5pm, with lift access.
