Noah's Goat is a wine shop and wine bar on George Street in Hastings Old Town, opened in November 2024 by Nick and Nicky Holt, who previously ran the Stag Inn nearby. By day the shop operates as a bottle shop with a cheese cave and deli counter, selling bottles the pair source directly with a focus on small growers and lesser-known regions, including Italian wines outside the mainstream. By evening it becomes a wine bar, with tastings, quiz nights and live music, and a corkage charge of ten pounds on bottles bought from the shelves to drink in. Food runs to cheese and charcuterie boards, pates and a rotating hot special. The business holds a five-star food hygiene rating and built a strong local following within its first year of trading, reflected in a five-star Google rating from dozens of reviews. It sits among a growing cluster of independent food and drink openings on George Street.
