Picture Book has traded as an independent bookshop on Stanley Street in Leek for 28 years, specialising in books on birds, natural history, and the Staffordshire Moorlands. Alongside field guides and Ordnance Survey maps for walkers heading onto the Roaches, the shelves hold Yale's Pevsner Architectural Guides, local railway and military history, fiction, and children's titles. The shop sits in the town centre, a short walk from Leek's outdoor market. Staff know the natural history stock well enough to point browsers toward a specific field guide on request. The shop opens daily, with shorter hours on Sundays than the rest of the week. There is no online shop alongside the physical premises.
