Rosebank Garden Centre sits on the Lanark Road at Rosebank, between Carluke and Lanark, and has been run by the Forrest family for around 65 years. Thomson and Helen Forrest and their son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Susan Forrest, currently run the business, which grows a large proportion of its own plants on site rather than buying in all its stock. The centre also has a coffee shop serving home baking and cooked food, plus a homeware and gift section and outdoor living products. Companies House lists Craig Forrest as a director of Rosebank Garden Centre Ltd, confirming the family's continued ownership. A 2019 investment in the site's frontage and car park, backed by bank funding, expanded the business further and added jobs, taking the permanent staff count to around 30. It is a single-site business in the Clyde Valley with no other branches, distinct from the national garden centre chains also trading in Lanarkshire.
