Biggar Puppet Theatre is the permanent home of Purves Puppets, a family-run touring company founded by Ian and Jill Purves in 1970 and established in its current Broughton Road building in 1987. The site includes a purpose-built theatre, a workshop where puppets are carved and built by hand, and a puppetry museum open to visitors.
