Stori Beerand Wine

Neil and Fiona opened Stori on Bala's High Street in 2015, building a shop around Welsh craft breweries and distilleries rather than the mainstream brands sold elsewhere in town. The shelves carry beer, wine, gin, rum and mead from producers across Wales, alongside hampers built to order. Neil's side of the business grew from years spent tracking down small brewers worth stocking, while Fiona's interest in running a shop dates back to childhood plans for a sweet shop that never quite left her. Beyond the till, Stori doubles as a live music venue, hosting an open mic night on the third Friday of every month for local and visiting musicians, a short walk from Bala's lake.
