T.J. Roberts & Son butchers occupies Tryweryn House on Station Road in Bala, a family-run shop trading inside Eryri National Park with a deli counter added when the premises roughly doubled in size in the mid-2000s. Meat comes from farms within the surrounding hills, cut and prepared on site into sausages, burgers, pies and black puddings that carry full traceability back to the farm of origin. The deli counter stocks Welsh and other European cheeses alongside the shop's own cooked meats. Its sausages and pies have been recognised in the Meat Trades Journal's Welsh Butchers listings and by the Countryside Alliance, and the shop also holds a True Taste Wales bronze award. Online meat boxes now extend its reach well beyond Bala's high street.
