The Bothy sits on Otley Road in Shipley, a small café that Tom has run since 2020. The kitchen serves brunch and lunch built around locally sourced produce, alongside a signature three-bean espresso blend pulled through a compact machine behind the counter. The short menu changes regularly rather than sticking to a fixed card, reflecting whatever produce is available that week. Seating is limited to a run of tables along the window, so a good share of trade leaves as takeaway cups carried up towards Saltaire or down to the station. The café closes on Mondays and keeps shorter hours at weekends, opening at ten on Sundays. Regulars tend to know the staff by name, and the till still takes cash as well as cards.
