Goose Eye Brewery takes its name from the hamlet near Keighley where brewing first began in 1991, though the business has operated for years from an industrial unit at Crossflatts, on the edge of Bingley. The Atkinson family runs the brewery across three generations, using Maris Otter malt and a rotating range of hops to produce cask ales including Chinook Blonde, alongside seasonal and cask specials. A tap room sits on a mezzanine above the brewhouse, open only on Friday and Saturday afternoons, pouring six hand-pulled ales plus bottled ciders, wines and gins bought in from elsewhere. On the first Saturday of each month, food stalls from independent traders set up in the yard outside. Dogs and children are welcome in the tap room, though the stairs mean there is no step-free access to it.
