Salt PotsCeramic Studio

Salt Pots is a paint-your-own pottery studio on Bingley Road in the Saltaire World Heritage village, established in 2014. Visitors choose from a range of bisque ceramics, decorate them at the studio and leave the pieces to be glazed and kiln-fired for collection. Alongside drop-in painting, the studio runs technique workshops in ceramic decoration and clay hand-building, wheel-throwing taster sessions, evening bring-your-own-bottle nights and silver-clay jewellery classes. Baby and toddler hand and footprint keepsakes are a regular fixture, and the space is booked for children's parties, hen gatherings and baby showers. Frenchic furniture paint is stocked for sale. Booking is recommended but not essential, and the studio keeps extended hours through the summer holidays. It is independently run from this single Saltaire premises.
