The DitsyTeacup

The Ditsy Teacup is an independently run tea room on Thunderton Place in Elgin town centre, serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea through the week. Scones are baked fresh on the premises every morning, drawn from a rotating list of more than thirty flavours with around a dozen on offer on any given day. The kitchen also makes soup daily, alongside sandwiches, wraps, baked potatoes and tray bakes, with vegetarian and vegan options available throughout the menu. The tea list is deliberately wide-ranging, chosen to set the cafe apart from Elgin's coffee-led alternatives. Dogs are welcome, cyclists are catered for, and children are made to feel at home. The cafe closes on Sundays, opening the rest of the week from morning through mid-afternoon.
