Mini Bakesby Ruby

Mini Bakes by Ruby is a bakery and café on Commerce Street in Elgin, run by Ruby and her husband Lewis. Ruby began baking from her home kitchen in 2020, building a following for cakes, tray bakes and savoury pastries before opening these premises in October 2024. The counter carries brownies, blondies, mini loaf cakes, tablet and chocolate fudge alongside soup, pies and stuffed bread; sausage rolls are made using meat from Dawsons, a local butcher. Bespoke celebration cakes are baked to order, and scone boxes and other items can be posted to customers across the UK. The shop pours coffee from Inverness Roasting Company. Ruby and Lewis run the business together, sometimes with their two young children helping out at busy periods.
