Butcher Mike Malloy runs The Farm Shop within Ben's Yard, the retail village that Victoria and Alastair Morbey opened on their Stuntney Estate outside Ely in 2023. Malloy moved his butchery here from its previous site by Cambridge station, which has since become a fishmonger under the same ownership. The shop prepares hand-cut meat to order and stocks Wagyu beef flown in weekly from Japan alongside retired dairy beef aged to deepen its flavour, plus artisan foods from local suppliers. It sits among other independent traders at Ben's Yard, including a baker and a florist, built around the idea of a village where shoppers could once again find a butcher, a baker and a candlestick maker under one roof. Opening hours run Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm, and Sunday, 10am to 4pm.
