The Sanctuary Studio & Gallery opened in 2021 inside a Grade II listed medieval building on Newnham's High Street, on the edge of the Forest of Dean overlooking the River Severn. Founded by landscape artist Sharon Harvey, it combines a working studio with an exhibition space showing rotating exhibitions of figurative and abstract work by artists from the Severn Estuary and Cotswold region.
