The WeeGallery

The Wee Gallery occupies a small shopfront at 3 Stafford Street in Oban, run collectively by five local artists rather than a single proprietor. Original paintings, prints, jewellery and small sculptures made in Oban and across Argyll fill the single room, with the stock changing as each artist brings in new work. Watercolours of west coast scenery and wildlife sit alongside craft pieces, giving the gallery a rotating rather than fixed inventory. Alongside retail, the gallery hosts workshops and events through the year that bring the artist-owners into direct contact with visitors and buyers. It has no separate premises or branches elsewhere, remaining a single small-format gallery a short walk from Oban's railway pier and the town's George Street shops.
