Thirty NineCoffee Company

Thirty Nine Coffee Company runs a café at 39 The Grove in Ilkley, on the same pedestrianised street as the town's independent shops. The business is independent and family run, serving breakfast, brunch and lunch alongside barista coffee, homemade cakes, scones and pastries, with wine and beer available through the day. The café roasts and blends its own coffee, sold under the Thirty Nine name in the shop and online, built out of dissatisfaction with an increasingly technical and disposable coffee trade elsewhere. Seating is limited and the café operates on a walk-in basis without table reservations, positioning itself as a laptop and tablet-free space aimed at people sitting and talking rather than working. Dogs are welcome both inside and in the outdoor seating. The café opens seven days a week, 9.30am to 4.30pm, and has built a following among Ilkley residents as a daily stop rather than a destination visitor café.
