Malorie and Arif Saad run the Town Hall Cafe Deli from a ground-floor unit inside Lampeter's old Town Hall building on the High Street. The deli counter stocks Welsh cheeses, cured meats, honey, pickles and chutneys alongside pasta, olives and crackers sourced from across Britain and continental Europe, set out on shelves and a chilled counter at the front of the shop. The café section serves Union Hand-Roasted coffee, home-baked pastries, granola and toasted teacakes through the morning, moving to bacon baguettes, sandwiches and lunch plates from midday. The high ceilings and tall windows of the historic building give the room natural light rarely found in a small-town deli. Trade draws on Lampeter's university term-time population as well as passing custom from the town's Saturday market, with the couple running the counter and kitchen themselves rather than through hired management.
