Abbey Bridge Coffee House and Pizzeria sits at the Old Tollhouse in Kenmore, on the A68 where it crosses the river below Jedburgh Abbey. Incorporated in 2021, the family-owned cafe describes itself as the first and last coffee shop travellers reach on the road between England and the rest of Scotland. It serves locally roasted coffee alongside a menu of breakfasts, sandwiches, and wood-fired pizza, with the loaded sourdough and Victoria sponge drawing repeat custom. Free parking sits opposite the abbey ruins, and dogs are welcome inside. The cafe opens daily, from nine in the morning until four in the afternoon on weekdays and five at weekends.
