The Jim Clark Motorsport Museum grew out of a memorial room James and Helen Clark opened in 1969 to house their son's trophies after his death; the room held over 100 cups and awards from his career as a two-time Formula One world champion. The Jim Clark Trust, a registered charity still involving the Clark family, rebuilt and extended the display, reopening it as a full museum on Station Road in 2019, officially opened by Sir Jackie Stewart. Exhibits include four of Clark's race cars, among them a Lotus 33 and a Lotus Cortina, his blue-and-white helmet, and archive film. The museum closes Wednesdays and runs shorter hours outside the April-to-October season.
