Adventure Access

Watersports operator based at Seaham Harbour Marina, running stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, open canoeing and dragon boating sessions along the County Durham coastline. Registered as a Community Interest Company, it holds Adventure Activities Licensing Authority certification for its paddlesport and forest-school programmes, and runs sessions for individual paddlers, families, school groups and corporate bookings, alongside coaching qualifications for those working toward instructor awards. Sessions from the Seaham base cover the harbour and open coastline, with additional sessions further inland along the River Wear in Durham City. Birthday parties, stag and hen groups and outdoor education visits are all catered for, alongside dry-land forest school activities for children. Equipment and safety instruction are provided throughout, and no prior experience is required for beginner sessions.
