Arnold's Fisheries

Arnold's Fisheries trades from 33 Queen Street in Bridlington, close enough to the harbour that the crab and lobster boats can be watched unloading from near the shop door. The business is run by the third generation of the Arnold family; a fishmonger has traded from the same site for more than a century, with the Arnold's name over the door since the 1950s. The counter carries fresh fish landed daily, Bridlington crab, lobster and whelks, and seafood platters made up to order. Customers can ring ahead to have an order ready for collection; there is no delivery service. Opening hours shift with the season, running roughly Tuesday to Saturday from 9am with a Sunday morning opening in mid-season. The shop remains one of the few fish merchants still tied directly to Bridlington's harbour trade.
