Beadlebop Design has operated as an independent print and embroidery workshop since 2006, when founder Sarah Friedloss began making embroidered uniforms for a local dance school. The business grew from that first commission into a wider trade supplying customised clothing, teamwear and personalised gifts to universities, schools, sports clubs and wedding parties, alongside signage, business cards and banners produced in-house. Beadlebop moved into FarGo Village on Far Gosford Street in 2014, where its workshop sits among the site's other maker units. Customers, including many Coventry University students, can discuss designs face to face rather than through an online order form, and garments are printed or embroidered on the premises rather than sent elsewhere for production. The workshop keeps trade hours through the week and a shorter Saturday morning session, and remains one of FarGo Village's longer-standing tenants, having traded there for more than a decade since relocating from its original premises.
