Breda Murphy opened her deli and restaurant in Whalley in 2006, after training at Ballymaloe Cookery School in Ireland and working as head chef at the Inn at Whitewell. The restaurant closed in June 2023, but the delicatessen continues to trade from the same Mitton Road Business Park unit, selling frozen ready meals in single, double, and family portions alongside sandwiches, quiches, cakes, and wine. The deli runs a click-and-collect service alongside walk-in trade. Opening hours are Monday to Friday nine until five and Saturday nine until two. Murphy's cooking draws on both Irish and British training, and the ready meals sold today are based on recipes developed for the restaurant kitchen she once ran.
