Steve and Christine Dilworth have run this freehouse pub in the small village of Pendleton since 1987, building a following among real ale drinkers for a rotating guest cask selection and traditional home-cooked food served in low-beamed rooms. CAMRA named it Lancashire Pub of the Year in 2023.
