The Cadenhead's Tasting Room sits behind the whisky shop at 9 Bolgam Street in Campbeltown, reached through a separate doorway on the same street. It belongs to William Cadenhead Ltd, founded in 1842 and still trading as Scotland's oldest independent whisky bottler, owned by the Mitchell family who also run the neighbouring Springbank distillery. Staff pour Cadenhead's own bottlings, from recently released casks to older stock drawn from the firm's archive, alongside wine, beer, cocktails and soft drinks. Light food, including soup and sandwiches, is served daily between noon and 2.30pm, and the bar stays open until 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Groups of ten or more are asked to book in advance. The shop itself keeps standard Monday to Saturday hours.
