Cowshed Workshop runs from a converted farm building on the back lanes out of Tenterden, teaching willow work, wheel-thrown and hand-built pottery, wreath making, candle making and leatherwork in groups capped at four to six people. Courses assume no previous experience, from a single afternoon trying a potter's wheel through to a six-week hand-building course. Past students have gone on to make lampshades, woven baskets and wreaths built from foraged natural materials, some of which are written up on the workshop's own blog. A small shop on site sells finished pieces made by the tutors and by past students. Sessions run on weekdays and some weekends, booked directly through the workshop's own website.
