Lee Miller and Roland Penrose moved to Farleys, at Muddles Green near Chiddingly in the Sussex countryside, in 1949, and over the following 35 years filled the house with contemporary art and hosted key figures of twentieth-century art. It is now the base of the Lee Miller Archives and the Penrose Collection, held by Farleys House & Gallery Trust. House, galleries and garden open Thursday, Friday, Sunday and selected Saturdays, April to October, 10am to 4.30pm, with guided house tours through the day.
