Gadds' — TheRamsgate Brewery

Eddie Gadd started brewing in the back of a Ramsgate pub in 2002, moving four years later to a larger site on the Pyson's Road industrial estate in Broadstairs, where the brewery still trades as Gadds', or The Ramsgate Brewery. The 15-barrel plant produces around a million pints a year, mostly cask ale built around Kentish hop varieties such as East Kent Golding and Northdown. In 2025 Gadd bought the freehold of Ramsgate's Montefiore Arms to keep the pub trading, and in 2026 the All-Party Parliamentary Beer Group named him Brewer of the Year. Beer is sold from the on-site shop as well as through pubs across East Kent.
